Waves Simulation

Stormy Ocean Animation
Created in Blender, compiled in Premiere Pro

This animation simulates a transition from calm seas to a heavy storm. I used Blender’s Ocean Modifier to drive wave movement, keyframing the wave scale to shift between calm and stormy conditions. Foam data was enabled and incorporated into the material using an Attribute node for added realism.

The boat and camera were both attached to shrinkwrapped planes projected onto the ocean surface, allowing them to follow the wave motion naturally. I added camera shake with rotation and location keyframes to emphasize the storm's intensity.

Rain was created using a particle system, emitting instanced raindrop meshes from a plane above the scene. The world background was keyframed to gradually darken the environment as the storm progressed.

All frames were rendered in Blender and compiled in Adobe Premiere Pro.
